Drain Tech Australia provides detailed manhole, chamber and borehole inspections using advanced CCTV and 360-degree manhole inspection technology.
Using systems such as the QuickView 360, we can complete surface-level inspections without the need for confined space entry in many applications. The camera is lowered into the asset from above and captures a complete 360-degree visual record of the internal condition of the manhole, chamber or borehole.
During the inspection, we record key asset information including structural condition, defects, service connections, incoming and outgoing pipes, joint locations, dimensions and general observations. This information is then compiled into a detailed digital inspection report, providing asset owners, councils, engineers and contractors with a clear understanding of the asset’s condition.
Our manhole inspection reports help identify defects, deterioration and required maintenance or repairs that may not be visible from above ground, supporting informed asset management and rehabilitation planning.

Example Report
What does the report find?
Working in conjunction with the live action CCTV robotic footage, every defect or observations found in the manhole are recorded on live footage to be received on USB and a report detailing all faults/ defects and observations with pictures. Please see example report for details.
How do we generate the report?
Using the latest innovative pipe coding and manhole technology with Wincan VX, we generate a structural/integrity and defect report of any manhole to specific council requirements. With the information received by the visual (CCTV) footage all defects and observations are found and recorded to a highly comprehensive report.
How will the final report be delivered?
You will receive the detailed manhole/ pit report and video on site after job completion printed out and footage on USB drive or data transferred over the internet.
